KI Delta Learning

A test vehicle equipped with numerous sensors (cameras and LiDAR) drove on pre-defined routes on public streets in Germany and Italy. Relevant vehicle data was collected in characteristic driving and traffic situations and prepared for further processing.

The data collected during the test drives took various deltas into account. These include different urban/rural environments, different countries, different sensor technology and sensors setups (from different manufacturers) and different weather conditions.

The collected data matches predefined requirements of the project partners. This marks an essential milestone towards the completion of the KI Delta Learning project. Tools and methods, which have already been developed in the project can now be trained and evaluated using a validated and verified data set - an important step on the way to scalable AI for autonomous and connected driving.
